Starting out you can make your garden either direct in the earth or in a pot, so if you live in an apartment you can still create your own Fairy Garden.

Here are some of the basic things you will need for your Garden:

Pot and soil if you are building in a pot
Small plants and flowers
Gravel or sand
Small stones and rocks for pathways
Miniature items - eg houses, bridges, gates, stairs, doors, lights, mushrooms and of course those little fairies! There are SO many mini items to find!
Other misc. objects like pine cones, sticks, sea glass if you can get it, twine, bark
your garden could have a theme - maybe a beach theme?
